Sorry again for not updating the blog for so long. Ever since come back from the “perfect Singapore” (according to Hailey), Chloe never slept over the night, she would wake up in the middle of the night and started to cry, not because she had a wet nappy, not because she was hungry, she just wanted me to hold her –not until she fell asleep, but FOREVER. If I put her down, she will start to cry and then throw up. I did try to let her cry, and this stubborn monster could really really cry until she threw up. One night, I told everyone to ignore her and since she was going to be sick anyway, I would wait until she “finished” and cleaned up once and for all. Hailey came out from her room and told me to take a look at her, she said, “Mommy, you know, I think we should take a look at Chloe, she has been crying for a long time, she was probably cover with all the “yukkie”.” So, even my 4 year old daughter was more sensible as me, I was just too upset to deal with her. Moreover, me and Hailey were ill for a week and it was just a nice excuse not to take Chloe to playgroup. And since we are going to the States for 2 weeks now, it was nice to just do not have to deal with her tantrum from time to time.
There was one night that Nick took over the job and it was more than an hour job. Nick told me that he will forgive Chloe in the morning again when he saw her. Mummmm, for me in the morning, when I saw Chloe, I did not really want to touch her. I was scared that any contact with her will set her off and she would turn into the tiny monster again.
Nick told me today that Hailey was like that before, I just did not remember that she was that bad. I think Hailey definitely did not make herself sick, nor did she insist to scream ( not cry) for 30 min, which made me certain that Chloe would certainly do well in a choir. May be I have more patient for Hailey, but I think most of the parents will do the same thing. Second one is always different, how can any parent not compare the first one with the second one. It does not matter who wins but just that people like to compare and will always do that. Can anyone tell me that they never compare their ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends?
