I felt so bad yesterday about making her practice piano and it lead to a lot of tears. I wonder if I ruined her for life for yesterday. I felt so so bad that I have decided that I will just let it go today. I just make her practice 15 minutes before the performance.

To be fair, I did not expect her to be excellent, she is just four and a half years old, but I think it is very important for her to learn that she have to do her best in everything, not just Ok. I wanted her to grow up to be someone that has a high standard, not just so so for everything.

Anyway, she was doing well in the performance, or I should say that she practiced a lot and she certainly played the best that she could.
