Sorry for not able to update the blog for so long. Everyone took their turn to be ill last week. Talking about the Singapore trip… what can I say: Very exhausting for us. Hailey was an lovely angel on the plane but Chloe was… really a monster. She wanted to walk on the plane all the time and when she was not allowed to, she screamed and screamed and it did not help with the fact people on the plane thought that she was very cute kept playing with her. Thus, it gave Chloe, her majesty a big incentive to marched down the aisle and “greeted” her people.
We stayed in a service apartment, so we have to put Hailey and Chloe in a same room. We had to ask Hailey to go to bed while we put Chloe to sleep at the same time. Hailey probably was so tired that she fell asleep and she was so good that when Chloe woke up in the morning, she came to our room and asked us to give Chloe some milk. She has really proven that she was a big and helpful sister.
I really enjoy the Singapore trip, Hailey loves it so much and she said to us that it is “the best place on the Earth.” My friends Foong foong’s sister in Singapore was nice enough to take us for dinner in one of most prestigious hotel. However, me and Nick think that we would be so ashamed to go back there again as Miss Chloe’s behaviour was quite unacceptable. She was tired and then she decided she would eat on her own, which was ok until she discovered that she could not really eat with not not so “well function hands. She decided that she will throw everything on the floor and her head and her clothes were all covered with food.
Then, monster Chloe would like to go for a walk. Thus, daddy took her out, again, she would like to go out forever and was not happy for the fact that she would need to sit down. She decided to scratch Hailey, me and daddy. I think this tested Nick’s patient for the next level and he lost it —he scratched her back, leaving a small red mark on Chloe’s face. of course, a big scream followed by lost of tears.
Both Hailey and Chloe really enjoy the trip, they like the zoo a lot and Hailey liked the food a lot. Weather was ok, getting a taxi is proven harder than being a mom in some circumstances. Most important of all, Nick thought that with Hailey’s good behaviour this time, he was very confidence that he could take her for a trip on his own.
